Hi! Umm.. for the science project, can it be about making something? ( ie, making a circuit out of cents?) If so, can you watch a tutorial on it or do we have to research and find out the variables and do it without a demo..?

My science fair project is about lighting up a light bulb with magnets, so I was thinking if there is a requirment of the voltage of my light bulb.

There is no requirement but what is your variable? What are you changing? Otherwise it's just a demo and Ms. M will not allow it.

Okay, thanks! I have another question about the presentation board for the engineering board, what does problem mean?

What is a prototype that we have to bring in? (It said in the presentation board page under the engineering board)

Polymer Permeability: Which Plastic Wrap Prevents Evaporation Best? Would that be an appropriate project?

That is a good project. Choose at five different types of plastic wrap.

I want to do something that involves my Betta fish: Yoshi, but I don’t want it to be as if I’m experimenting on him, but more of to observe how well he learns or reacts to certain things. He is extremely intelligent, and I want to do a grade level assignment, but I need help finding one. If it makes any difference, he is very good with my neon tetras (I have six).

You will need to do a bit of research. Also you'll need to study more than one fish. Lastly to be an experiment you'd need to change something (variable). Perhaps the type of fish. Hope this helps.

Did you review the "Scientific Process" tab? I would start there. It should problem be a "If ..... then .... statement." I can not really give your a suggestion if you do not state your project topic/problem. Just a thought.

Hi! For my science fair project, I will be substituting some ingredients in vaccines for more natural ingredients.I want to substitute chicken eggs and some metals in it. Are there any other ingredients I should be aware of?

Vaccines are carefully formulated by pharmaceutical companies and administered by doctors. How do you plan to carry out your plan? How will you test your "vaccine"? You probably need to talk to Ms. M. Sounds dangerous.

Alright. Ms. Mitchell approved it, though I might not be able to test it. I'll ask her. Thanks anyways.
