Yes. Make sure however that your project contains an hypothesis that can be tested through experimentation. What do you have in mind?

You need to be more specific. Temperature of what? The atmosphere? Outer space in general? Please present a more detailed topic and I'd be happy to assist you!

I am having a little bit of trouble figuring out what project to do. I want to get a good grade but I don't know if I could do something hard to improve my grade. Can you help me please?

I'd start on with www.sciencebuddies.com. You can also visit the school library as a resource. Just because you complete a "hard" project does not guarantee that you will receive a high grade. Focus on a project that you will enjoy, put in the time and effort and complete all the necessary requirements. If you complete the above, you should see positive results. Enjoy the journey and not necessarily the end result.

I would like to do a project on constellation but I cannot find it.What website should I go to? Please answer back

I would start with www.sciencebuddies.com Finding a project based on constellations may be difficult because there is no way to complete an experiment regarding them. Constellations are observed. Remember that you must complete an experiment. Not a demonstration or model.

Your post is unclear. Do you mean that you are looking for information regarding asteroids? There are books in the library about planets, asteroids and comets. There are also several brain pops on space and you should use Net Trekker as a resource as well.

I'd like my son to work with a friend on his Science project as it will make it a more fun learning experience for him and will perhaps make him more excited about the project, but I cannot find the form needed to request that her works with a partner. Can someone please send me a link? Thanks.

The group permission slip was taken down from the website after revisions were made by the faculty. The modified version will be posted by 5 pm today. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Could I do a project on a specific planet? If so, where could I find information on a specific planet? Thank you for your help.

As long as your "project" falls under your class theme it should be just fine. Remember however that your will be graded on your ability to answer a problem through experimentation. You are NOT to simply collect facts about a particular subject area. I would suggest that you visit the CCS library or use Net Trekker as a primary resource.

I don't think that this will be an acceptable project. What are your variables and how will you know that the eggs is fully cooked? You'll need to find a project that meets the following criteria. What are the effects of ____________ on ____________? You are simply demonstrating something. Use Net Trekker to find websites with a more suitable science fair project.

I am wondering if you could approve my science fair project. It's objective is to determine which food and drinks contain the most glucose. In order to test the glucose levels, I will use test strips. I will dip the strips into the liquids and wait for about thirty seconds each. Then I will compare all of the strips and record the data. Then I will determine which had the most glucose and which had the least. Thank You!!

This is more of a demonstration. Your project should follow the format What are the effects of __________ on ____________. I could complete your science fair project by simply googling the nutritional value of the food and drinks that you intend to study. It shouldn't be that simple. If you are interested in food science then perhaps you should study the effects of sugary drinks on mood, weight, test taking, etc. Be more creative.

I found a new question and it is. . . What effect does the time between eating and brushing have on tooth decay? I will test this by using 3 or 4 of my old teeth. Twice a day, I will place them into Gatorade for 5 minutes. One tooth will never be brushed, one will be brushed right away, and one will be brushed after two hours. Please let me know if this is okay for me to begin.

Perfect. Also consider testing more than just Gatorade. I'd try water as a constant. Technically there should be no tooth decay with water. (Unless the water is an issue ... which could be a interesting finding.) Then perhaps juice, soda and Gatorade. Maybe even coffee. Excellent choice. Let us know if you need further assistance.

You can do either. Our issue is with the project. You need to be more specific. What do mean by fashion as it relates to a persons behavior. Please provide more detail.

Those assignments were handed out months ago in class and therefore did not need to be posted online. Do you lose them? You will have to request duplicates on Monday or find the original copies that were given to you.

My project requires plaque disclosing tablets and the website where i got the idea of my project from says you can easily get them at a local pharmacy, but my parents and I looked at nearby and faraway pharmacies and stores. All of the pharmacies told us to order online but the shipping takes 8 days and the project is due on Tuesday. What should I do?

At this point you may have to alter your project. That is why we suggest never waiting until the last minute. I'd ask Ms. M on Monday. Perhaps she can point you in the correct direction.

My brother is in 7th grade and I’m in 5th. The group permission request says if they are no more than two grade levels apart they can work together. Are we eligible to do the project together?
